It is not the responsibility of Foreigners to develop Ghana or Africa. The return to Ghana was marketing for Tourism, not an offer to invest. Regardless of who showed up they were invited and if they decided to stay that is a separate conversation.

He is a Nigerian individual who strongly dislikes Ghana. Similarly, there's a person named Evans in Kenya who creates negative content about Ghana. I believe it's time for the Ghana Tourism Authority to engage with these two individuals. While they criticize Ghana, they speak highly of their own countries. It's disheartening to witness Africans behaving this way towards their fellow Africans.

You also need to remember that it was other Africans that would capture Africans to sell to slavers as well, had they worked together maybe slavery would not have happened, but they never got along amongst each other and that is still happening today, people need to understand the Africa is a continent with many different countries and different cultures, so very rich some very poor and many countries warring among each other, people in America tend to think Africa is just one big country and romanticize the idea of living there and not doing any kind of research

Nobody should engage those miserable ones. It's social media that makes it look like the diaspora coming to Ghana is a new thing. Starting with Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana has always sought to unite the melanin family. Panafest, the Joseph project and other govt initiatives have always brought the diaspora to Ghana. Now, if instead of selling their own countries to the diaspora, some African are jealous of the attention Ghana is receiving for its efforts, it's their loss. No body should waste their time on them. By the way, who's trooping to Ghana more than the Nigerians? 🤷🏽‍♂️

Nigerians, I don't know what they need from Ghana and more recently there is two Kenyans who have also join this negativity against Ghana, they are Evenas from Kenya and Dr mumbi, there is another Cameroonian guy too, there are over four million Nigerians living and working in tiny Ghana. The word Akata which means a dangerous animal is a Nigerian word to be specific Yoruba word, this word is used by Nigerian to refer to African Americans, the kind of hate these people have for Ghana is unbelievable. Recently with South African making visa free for Ghanaian visiting and leaving Nigeria out, has made their hate for Ghana even worse.

Our flight was 2300 EACH in July and that was the lowest cost if we wanted to arrive in a day without multiple stops. We have student groups who travel every other year. The students get some financial support but many ended up not being able to afford to travel even though they wanted to. Most African countries are jealous of Ghana, but they will never say that. But if you travel out of Ghana, and as a Ghanaian, you see them. Most Ghanaians wrongly believe that they are appreciated by Africans. That are the Ghanaians who have never travelled outside of Ghana, and who takes their dreams to be reality. Just live your lifes and don't listen to what others say, as we all don't perceive life in the same light. But my advice is try to be discreet and don't love to be exposing your life to others, as you never know who is envious or what people think about you. No matter what you do to humans, they are never satisfied. Just be discreet and low key. Why should you show off your life to people who don't even know ? To live secretly,is the best way to live and to be really happy in life !

You should know this guy is Nigerian, and he have a long-standing beef with Ghana, although he had stayed in Ghana before he was able to travel to the U.S. on a Ghanaian passport. I know him personally. He’s angry with the nation of Ghana being favored by the diasporas over Nigeria, and the good news coming out of Ghana from you guys. This is his problem because Nigeria is not getting the same attention. The truth be told, Ghana has always played a leading role in the West African region and Africa at large. The Nigerians always try to call Ghana "just that small Ghana" or "little Ghana" or their "younger sibling Ghana" although Ghana gained independence 3 years before Nigeria, making Ghana the first born of west African if was position birth position count, Ghana would be 3 years older than Nigeria. The bottom line is, due to their (Nigerians') jealousy of Ghana, they left room for the British and Americans to use them to jeopardize the unity of African states. This continues to date.
