Great price, can adjust the data & call minutes as I need based on my useage. Able to rollover my unused data & minutes to the next month. Can get a good reception at lots of places, though sometimes indoor signal is weak, but overall, very happy with the service. Will continue using Tello for a long, long time.

Tello’s relatively low data limits, even on its “unlimited” plan, make it a solid choice for those who aren’t constantly on their phones. If you do a lot of streaming, gaming, and web browsing, might want to consider a plan with higher data limits and more guaranteed high-speed data.

It's pretty straightforward, With Tello, your initial setup will be minimal - you'll receive a SIM card in the mail, and that's just about it. The QR code on the card containing the SIM directs you to download the My Tello app, which provides a little bit more setup information and a basic walkthrough of the app's functions, then you're set to begin your wireless service.

Great question, Mint Mobile, also on the T-Mobile network, is one of the most popular MVNOs, making it one of the biggest competitors for Tello (and any other MVNO). Unlike Tello, Mint does not offer customization, but it does offer affordable options, especially for people who use a lot of data. Mint is probably the better option for heavy data users, while Tello seems more fit for those who aren’t so hooked to their phones.

I was overall surprised by how well Tello served me during my testing, especially as someone who tends to use more data while out in Washington. I expected to hit data deprioritization quickly by using video calls and using social media, and I figured a service that costs as little as Tello's can't be all that effective.
