I'm a big fan of Telly, love him! I would've loved to have met him, he seemed so down to earth and just plain cool. His charisma was unbelievable. Stephen, I love this interview because it's more like a conversation than an interview. Telly doesn't seem to have any guard up at all. Both of these parts were just a joy to watch, thank you so much!

I'm watching Kojak right now, so decided what I could find on Telly here on youtube. Have never watched an interview with him until now. They don't make men like this anymore. All of the great actors are just about gone now, and the ones in the business today can't even compare to the greats! Thanks for posting this, Stephen.

Johnny Buck If I said it before, I'm saying it again. Thank you, Johnny Buck for posting this great comment. I didn't know there was so little of Telly on You Tube. It was a rare privilege. He was a great man. And a great actor.

Savalas was so sexy. I love the way he seemed to really like people from all walks of life - and make not just eye connection, but touch peoplel like everybody's family.

I think Savals was one of the most underrated actor in the world. Its terrible no one pays tribute to him anymore. Its like Richard Burton. They truly layed the foundations or DeNiro and Pacino?

Are you sure? Telly Savalas was born in 1922 - that would make him 91 years old today. He was 69 in that interview.

One of Telly Savalas comments towards the end of the interview reminds me of one of President's Clinton's comment on a talk show: ''You're too good for me. Wehere were you when I needed you?''

I guess it would be like living in a community with amenities, except you'd get more than a swimming pool and tennis court.

Please clear something up for me if you don't mind ?? The answer with never change my opinion on him because i will always view him as being nothing less than awesome !! Why do so many people (on 'You Tube') accuse Telly of being (secretly) homosexual and living a parallel family life ??

Whats all the talk about the Sheriton ?? Did Savalas really LIVE in a hotel ??
