I'm watching this in 2020 and you wouldn't believe how many lines of this skit I remember from when I saw it in 1974. So hilarious. They actually do a pretty good job of playing it straight, losing it a bit at 7:41, and then just cracking up at the end when Harvey leans in a bit. A great skit from a great show.

(guest) This is 22Jan, 2019. Only 28 " likes" since 2016.... Carol Burnett's shows ran for years and were very entertaining. Her regular co-stars were so reliable and were perfect supporters. Her skits on " Gone with the Wind" and " The Waltons" were hilarious. As is so often said in the comments sections, modern so-called comedy is rarely as good any more... Also look out for famous guest stars showing their great sense of humour, e.g., Vincent Price, as the father in "The Waltons " skit. I love dipping into this rich vein of skillful comedy. 😊😊😊😊😊

Ive learned that often people don't "Like" because it adds it to that ever-growing LIKE FOLDER. Compare the views to the likes! 😉

Brilliant. Harvey Korman struggled not too crack up. Telly Savalas almost cracked at "Stock Options", but when Korman stood up to leave ........

(guest) Last few seconds : "Arnold" very slightly leans towards " Paul", and they both start " cracking up"! Watch Paul's face as he turns to leave ! Great stuff ! 😊😊😊

It's too bad Telly was from a previous generation. He would have been the perfect actor to play Lex Luthor.

He killed it as Ernst Blofeld in “On Her Majesty’s Secrete Service” in 1969.

Don't care about cue cards. Telly/Harvey brilliant + kudos to the writers. Variety shows are different than TV series. Sometimes they're script changes right up to the day of shooting.

I love the voice of the actor in the skit named, Simpkins. If I'm not mistaken, he also played an MD in a Family Skit. I would love to know his name.

Ernie Anderson. Worked with Tim Conway in Cleveland and did a hammy show called "Ghoulardi". Loved him and his voice.

This is just as funny now in 2022 as when I saw this as a kid with my parents in the 70s. And that's how good this brand of humor is, that I as a child could laugh at the jokes. The jokes weren't bawdy or crass, risqué or vulgar. They were simply funny.
