Is it nessesery to add APN values or does it work without them ? Without APN can I see the values through the application or the web, without having to take out the device and plug it to my PC usb ?

Hello, the Auto APN functionality is supported. Generally, when installed in a car and connected to a PC, CAN and OBD parameters can be viewed live in the configurator. However, this is not recommended because of the inconvenience of physically accessing the device in the car. It is better to monitor values via a fleet management platform. Hello! With our FMx003 series devices, it is possible to obtain real odometer data. You are free to choose any platform as long as you implement our protocols. Hello, no, FMB002 is powered via USB cable through which you are configuring it from PC.

Depends on use case. For example in some EU countries where some tax'es are calculated according to private/business trips, OBD trackers are quite popular. Because they provide real odometer data.
