What is your language, stubbornness or meekness?

We are moving forward in the BAAL series and we delve a little deeper into the topic of stubbornness. This expression of the soul in the Hebrew language is: zēḏ (זודד), "stubborn". Psalm 19:13 declares, "Preserve also your servant from stubbornness (zēḏ); let him not RULE (Baal) over me; then I will be upright, and I will be clean from great rebellion." Psalm 86:14 declares, "O God, the STUBBORN (zēḏ) have risen up against me, and a conspiracy of VIOLENT (of soul) has sought my life, and they did not set you before them." Psalm 119:51 states, "The stubborn (zēḏ) have mocked me, but I have not turned away from your law." Psalm 119:78 declares, "Let the stubborn be put to shame (zēḏ), for they have slandered me without a cause; but I will meditate on your commandments." Psalm 119:122 declares, "Strengthen your servant for good; do not let the STUBBORN (zēḏ) oppress me." Jeremiah 9:13-15 states, "YHWH said, 'Because they have forsaken my law, which I gave before them, and have not obeyed my voice, nor walked according to it, but have gone after the IMAGINATION of their heart (zēḏ) and after the Baals, as their fathers taught them. Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will give WORMWOOD to this people to eat, and I will give them waters of GALL to drink." Let us pray, Heavenly Father, do not allow the Baal of stubbornness to lord it over me, over my integrity as your servant oh! Sir. Preserve my soul from all stubbornness. If the STUBBORN make fun of me, don't let me forget your law. The slander and oppression of the STUBBORN I take to the Cross of Calvary in the name of Christ Jesus of Nazareth. Amen.
