to be honest neon has been overnerfed yes, but the biggest nerf isnt even to her slide or anything its her ult. earlier you could pop her ult go crazy the round is mostly secured if you know how to play with it even a bit. now you HAVE to make a PERFECT play with her ult or else you blink and its gone.

When a dev team nerfs a character, they don't plan on making said character unviable. I think riot especially is looking to find a way to make every character balanced. They seem to be good at making characters balanced after a little bit of trial and error. I think communities talk about nerfs and buffs too much to be the solution to a problem. Of course in this case neon was very strong but I don't want valorant to be one of those games where when something is "Too good" the community explodes.
