Giving it a listen now and my first impression is "what if Train of Thought was a Leprous album instead of DT" or "what if Leprous was a 2000s prog-metal act". Not a bad thing, I am enjoying it immensely more than I thought based on that one single.

Definitely agree this one takes several spins to get into,but once you do it’s totally worth it. Youre experience mirrored my own minus wishing some of the songs were shorter. One of my favorite albums of 2023, can’t wait for their next.
