Fun fact, in Nawtystep’s album reaction video, Teminite said that the imagery behind this song is “The end of a battle, a ship has sunk. The sea has taken all the sailors.”

People may often skip or forget this song, but I find it to be one of the best songs on the album. The wonderful transition it provides from the first half to the second is very emotional. It adds a lot of suspense, especially with the last couple chords. I always take a minute to reflect and to calm down whenever the song turns on. It's really a wonderful experience. Glad I can listen it to again on the Teminite channel one last time before 2022!

I absolutely agree with you. When it comes to bass music albums like this, the intros & interludes, especially cinematic & orchestral ones like this, are underrated. I mean this should get as much love as Overture 1990 by Riot did. I love listening to this one a lot.

If I heard this song in a movie, I wouldn’t think for a second it was made by Teminite. That’s just how cinematic it is, fantastic work on this midpoint track! To add: at the listening party in the Temination discord server, Sam told everyone this song had a story to it. A ship has sunk, and there were no survivors.

I know nobody asked for this, but as a huge Teminite fan since 2018 with extensive Teminite knowledge and someone who has listened to literally every Teminite song ever produced, here is a Teminite list I felt like making. I hope you all learned something! Teminite’s Top 3 Longest Songs Ever: Rally The Troops - 6:09 (Rally The Troops EP) Fireflies - 6:08 (Firepower Album) State Of Mind 6:02 (Uprising Album) Notes: Fireflies is listed as 6:09 on both KZbin and SoundCloud, which would put it as a tie with Rally The Troops. However, Fireflies is listed as 6:08 on Spotify which is my main streaming service so I went with that, as a tie would make things complicated. Adventure Time is a song by both Panda Eyes & Teminite, but is listed on all major platforms as a Panda Eyes song with Teminite as a feature. This song sounds 90% like a Panda Eyes song with a hint of Teminite, so it did not make it to this list as it is not an official Teminite song. If it did however, it would be in between Fireflies and State Of Mind at 6:06. If I said anything incorrect, please leave a comment letting me know and I will fix it. This is my favorite song in the album, Its like we are going to another level of the album, From the cords at the end that gives me MDK Vibes, to the violin that the album has only just begun, I love this song With the cinematic brain I have, Cant wait to see the rest of it on youtube (apple music and other streaming services though the full album is out already)

Hot take, imo this is one of the most moving songs that I have listened to. The atmosphere conveyed through sound design and detail. The number of scenarios you could put in the song alone truly elevates the whole album higher than it already was. Love ya Teminite :)

This song is new, but still somehow manages to capture a sense of nostalgia for me, especially at 1:08. Teminite has been my favorite musician and the biggest inspiration to my own music for a long time and one of the main reasons is because his music has heart and soul. His dubstep tracks are as melodically complex as a stripped-down orchestral track like this. Not only do all Tem songs make you feel something, but they are very melodically sophisticated; pretty much the two techniques I enjoy most in music. 🎼

Well I must say this is quite different from the usual "heavy dubstep" stuff but you can really do calm stuff well sometimes! It sounded very emotional yet so relaxing, especially near the end where the music is its loudest. Absolutely glorious.
