Actually, it's 'did-dub snop' (дид-дуб сноп) meaning, if I'm not wrong, 'the sheaf of oak-bits'. Oak was a sacred tree among the ancient Slavs (and of many of our European brethren) and was consecrated to Perun, god of thunder and war.

Yes. as Svarog creater, grandfather of the world. Oak is Peruns tree and Veles God of luck (wealth) represented with bundle of wheat. Ofcourse it may vary in different Slavic folk tales.

@Thunderdome616 Hello,thank you for the interesting post. I am wondering about the information about NM. They gave up? It seems quite unusual for a band like that to give up their ideals. Also the Mirrovozrenie seems to be a continuing of Nechrist, but not really sure. I know the new album of NM is fairly different, but I am asking if the change is only for the musical aspect or even bands member. It doesn´t matter if it is because of some persecution or the bands inner feeling. Thanks.
