I just fought someone using only marines and I took out 275 of his units vs 75 units I lost I obliterated his army 4x with banes and he just continually until I no longer could keep up with the amount of marines he sent me with me eventually losing 200+ units in total and I looked at score I stayed at top of game throughout whole match.

when i used to play, mass marine marauder was powerful, I used to open with cloak banshee harass whilst building more rax, and starports (for medivac) if they saw it and didn't build more static air defence I could use the starports made to get more medivacs and get more banshees to snipe at their production or pylons (or vikings, if they went for air) and if they did get air defence, I could normally break the front with the marine marauders whilst cutting banshees. I loved that strat.

Equal supply meaning a marauder for every zealot. Without any upgrades they're about equal in worth. As far as upgrades go, as soon as zealots get charge it's over for marauders, unless they stim to run away or micro individual shots on each zealot alternately to slow them down, which I have never seen anyone accomplish.

You can say that for any race though. The hard truth of a complex game like this is that each race is more difficult than another in each area, but all result in each being roughly equally difficult at highest level of play. Individual units or mechanics might be more difficult than others when in a vacuum but in relation to the race mechanics and unit interactions, each race, I would like to think anyways, has an equal "difficulty".
