“We are so excited about this new chapter called Hermitage. Personally, I’ve dreamed of writing a real concept album like this since the release of the suite called Daruma’s Eyes Pt 1 on the album Of Jupiter and Moons, and finally, we made it - a complete story with six characters (represented by six singers) plus such a great narrator. We decided to change the production team, 100% from Italy; we worked together with Simone Mularoni on the mixing, as we did in the first three albums of the band, plus for the very first time, I worked together with someone else for the orchestrations: Daniele Mazza, the mastermind of Ancient Bards. The artwork also was made by the talented artist Giada Belviso. Get ready for a journey through magic and dreams, and welcome to Hermitage.”

As sad as it is, this is probably the best way to learn that Alessia left the band. Great new song, and with Kristin Starkey a great new vocalist that, with her powerful voice, may even allow you to go into a more heavy direction in the future. I'll still miss Alessia, because I really fell in love with her voice, but I'm also very excited about the new album.

Yeah, i'll miss hearing Alessia's soaring vocals in Temperance. Her voice soars high and it complimented the two deeper male vocalists well. Starkey is of course an excellent singer, lots of power, very operatic. Do note Alessia's in ERA if you want to follow up on her current work. Her voice is also in Alex Mele's "Alien Doppelganger" album if you want more Alessia :)

Great song, nice arrangement on the refrain! Kristins strong, deep voice adds a nice tone to the songs. Quite different to the bright and magically happiness-inducing voice of Alessia. It will be different from now on, but that must in no way be a bad thing.

Hi! I got my chance to watch music video, Daruma, today. Song is pretty good. Admittedly I don't know the lyrics as well, but it sure is great! The instrumentals really gives lots of boosted hype for me there, plus amazing vocals! Way to go, Temperance! As for music video, this is Nice! There are new more rock tunes being uploaded every day than even this hack could possibly keep up with. With all this competition for ears, bands really can't afford any self-indulgence if they want to win new fans. For a start, I want my attention grabbed from note 1 - a killer intro is now essential not an optional extra. Now THIS is a band that gets it! This has indeed a killer intro. Having got my attention. a band has to keep it. This song wins again! A fine Symphonic Metal piece with superb production, soaring harmonies, a killer chorus, and was generally epic. I don't think the spoken part did the song any favours - just briefly interrupted it. But don't let put you off an otherwise essential for your playlist. My Score: Very Good 4*

I can't wait for a new Temperance album that will be written specifically for Kristin's voice, it will be spectacular. She has this unusual combination of dramatic contralto and rough metal singing that we don't see in female metal singers nearly as often as the angelic soprano vocals, so Kristin really stands out. Temperance needs to get bigger, they would easily occupy a notable position in metal with this unique combination.

Se chama Diamanti, da mesma banda (Temperance). A versão do clipe é a que tem o refrão em italiano, a original, mas eles têm outras quatro versões alternativas com o refrão em idiomas diferentes (inglês, alemão, espanhol, francês, mas infelizmente não tem em português 😢).

E sim, tem uma intérprete de língua de sinais. Quando estava anunciando o álbum, o Marco (o guitarrista/vocalista e compositor principal da banda) anunciou que teriam uma mesma música que teria trechos em seis idiomas diferentes. Então contando o original em italiano, as quatro versões e a linguagem de sinais, são seis idiomas. Eu só não sei afirmar se é mesmo linguagem de sinais americana ou italiana, sobre isso não tenho nenhum conhecimento.
