Hello sir. As far as i understand you set a temperature by using potentiometer and fan tries to cool down the thermistor to that temperature level. What is the temperature range in your project? And what should i do if i want to change the temperature range? It will be super appreciated if you answer sir.

Can I use 741 Op-amp instead of lm 358 op-amp. ?

Hi, I have a question, as per your circuit diagram you have connected the pin-2 of LM358 to the thermistor, but as per your soldering layout you have connected it to pin-3. What is the correct one?

Also when powered on the LM358 is heating up a lot, any reason why?

Click on the “Up-Down” arrow on the right lower corner of the video. In Blue, it will have a link to the basic diagram with the components, pins and other points. I am a retired auto tech and want to control the temperature of a transmission cooler with dc fan on it. R2 and Thermistor act as a voltage divider input to 2 on OP Amp. With pot on 3, the ability to adjust a small voltage to turn on above or below adjusted point. Best of luck. Sweet little circuit.
