Tempered Ruiner Nergigante - Hammer Solo

Based on my previous run, I've made some adjustments.
REAL TALK:
Everyday grind using hammer on this quest is really hard (TA WIKI RULES), I literally strive and did hundreds of error before I achieved the exact timing, camera angle, topple counts and the mini steps where it lands.
Seriously, even when you've learn from this sub 3 video or other video's on KZbin on mastering hammer, you won't even get it without having the passion and addiction to the game and making it to sub 3. There is math involve and endless video recording reviews where you need to improve.
There is really a high chance of achieving this record if you focus on the details. The only way I think I can improve this is by perfectly landing all of the critical hits and studying other position where I will do a charge follow up.
To make things short, a lot of hard work is hidden behind nice things. Hard work pays off. The more you repeat an action, the better you become good at it.

Just use a hammer over and over eventually you will get it. 😉

When Nerg does his dive attack, how are you able to stand still and the attack misses you?

Pay attention to which front leg nergi raises. That is the direction it will dive in. If it raises both legs then you have to dodge it since it will follow you.

@@Frost.x7x Good catch. My explanation was incorrect. Go to 1:00. Notice how nergi raises one leg higher than the other. In this case the right leg (from nergi's perspective) is higher than the left one. So he will dive to the right. And then notice at 1:56 that both legs are raised equally. You can also see that as the player runs around, nergi keeps his chest pointing at the player. That's how you know that nergi will dive straight at you and that you probably need to dodge or block.

That depends on what your problem is if your problem is that you can't get the hits because of the amount of moving, then what you need to focus on is just getting in the small hits in earplugs can help by the way, Just so u know this is a very calculated fight, around 2000 damage to the arms would make the monster fall to the head I'm not sure but probs more so when u juggle the dmg U do to him u can have him on the floor the whole time, another thing is dodging, I do not know how good U are but that something u need to learn (evade window helps a lot) charging up your attacks isn't always helpful so sometimes you should just do the spinning attack from a slide
