I believe in this game. It has potential and it corrects many mistakes. Or at least tries.

The tempest overcharge ability never kills your buildings. It stops taking effect after a certain point. If you are repairing a building and it still loses health you can even see the speed up turn on and off and it gets healed then loses the heal. Also engineers and salvage rigs passively heal buildings allowing you to extend the duration for free.
