If you're using a body already cut out or you've prematurely removed the 'off-body alignment' locators (oops) just scab on a couple pieces of temporary dead wood and redrill the pins. 15mins for the glue to dry and you're back in stride. Take a break and smoke a joint.

My "cocktail napkin" calculation says 378 unique combinations with those 3 templates.

Matt, 384 possible combinations. 383 if you don't include bridge and neck with no pickups at all. Even more interesting, add another template with single coils and another different bridge and that number jumps to 3750.
