I love this movie. You can really see the difference in technique. Harvard probably had more power on board, and are looking really well together and solid. But the difference is the length of the stroke. Look at the amount of time the blades are under water each stroke, Laga's blades are covered much longer. That is purely due to a nice sequential stroke, first the legs, then the backs, then the arms, instead of trowing up the back during the leg drive. Look at how much boat speed they gain...
