Anyway, to my point about the crop fertility/marriage/childbirth goddess marrying the storm/water/death god... Zeus and Hera (also Zeus and any woman divine or not, including Demeter), Jupiter and Juno, Astarte and Ba'al (originally associated with ground water and storms, he replaced Bel as supreme god). Common pairing in the Mediterranean ancient cultures. Rain penetrates the ground causing crops to rise, so male storm god and female fertility goddess isn't much of a leap.
Mozia (sometimes spelled as Mothia) can be reached easily from Marsala by boat (5€ round trip plus 9€ fee to visit the island, museum, and sites on island).
