Great review. Anyone can kick out a review video, but it is clear you are passionate about the Temple Rod product line. I hope you boost their sales with this review. It's been at least a year. Hey Johnny, with the money we spend on these rods is there anything you do on the boat ride or at home to store these rods from getting damaged?

100%...Daiwa makes rod covers for starters. While traveling on the boat I would recommend covering the butt section with a jig wrap to protect it from rattling around in the rod holder. Keep the jig secured low on the rod or take it off completely. Lastly I would take the reel off at the end of the day for cleaning any salt deposits in the seat and store it upright in a rod holder.

It really depends on the depth you are fishing but I would say a 2 or 3 and use the 1500 for the 1
