Reb Young Have a listen to some early Pink Floyd: "See Emily Play", "Arnold Layne", "Remember a Day" and "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun." You can also hear a bit of a Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper" in this, IMHO.

Move, rest in tombs of sleep Choose visions, wake from deep Painting ourselves on a stained glass floor The things we discuss are disguised until unveiled In the hour of night, we take from ourselves We replace and reward It's the balance of thoughts Seeks to find affirmation, speaking in tongues Take the words through you Dawn of creation Blessed in devotion Love, lost spaces in time Bringing colours to life Spectrums defy us Left to remind us Love, lost spaces in time Bringing colours to life Loose words when voices speak New shades of darkness seek Staining ourselves on a painted floor The things we have done are exposed unto ourselves In the hour of night We take from ourselves We repent and reward It's the balance of thoughts Seeks to find adoration, sleeping tongues Take the words through you Dawn of creation, blessed in devotion Love, lost spaces in time Bringing colours to life Spectrums defy us Left to remind us Love, lost spaces in time Bringing colours to life

Slap me silly, what a tune! This band and their album knock the breath out of me! Haven't heard anything remotely praiseworthy in at least 10 YEARS. But am getting really sick of comparisons of Temples to The Beatles and the comments about rehashing the 60s. For one thing there is very little Beatles to be heard here -if anything I hear a nod to more complex , less mainstream bands like The Byrds maybe Love, etc. More importantly there are some tantalising, originally modern quirks and intriguing melodies to be heard on the album and I challenge others to come up with a sexy, heavy riff like that of Sand Dance. No one is copying anything here, but everyone will have influences. Elvis blatantly copied Big Mama Thornton's Hound a Dog to massive success and acclaim. And don't get me started on the Stones and dearth of wannabe Oasis bands that bore me to tears. Finally a hit of fresh air here, thank you Temples!!!!

I wish I was able to serve, you learn a lot of things in the military. Especially things that can be utilised in a post-civilisational scenario. You learn REAL skills in the military that you can use in any scenario. Military people are needed in the world.

@@robertomiramiraquilla4244 Marc Bolan was a British musician and singer and one of the most popular figures of glam rock during the 1970s. He was the leader of the group Tyrannosaurus Rex, name later shortened to T. Rex. The nickname Bolan is a contraction of the name of his admired Bob Dylan

Although i like their music, I don't really know about their ''looks'.' It does not come over as very authentic, like the singer is trying to hard to be Marc Bolan. And as soon the video is over he goes back to his normal clothing style. Don't hate me for this, i will get used to it eventually. The music like i said is nice and my cup of tea.

that's what i thought at first, too. however this is a music video and think about how unusual and weird/crazy/overthetop musicians are dressed in some music videos. if you watch live videos or sessions he dresses much more ordinary.

if these guys existed in the 60s-70s they'd be so much more famous. not saying that they aren't already of course, but just imagine. these guys are really good. of course, they have a little modern touch to their music but it makes it all the more better

There's tons of psychedelic rock bands today. Somehow these kinds of bands get compared to tame impala a lot as if they were the only ones doing it. In my opinion they sound different they have their own unique sounds. Love both bands but I don't compare the two

both tame impala and this band have a strong 60s music influence - if you check out a lot of 60s bands you will actually think the 2 bands teleported themselves to the 2010s lol
