You did a really nice job. If you have a flat iron laying around use it to seal the ends. Put a paper towel in between. Clamp down. Then palm roll the ends, as you do. I found I got too happy with the lighter and would make my ends too crunchy.

Thank you for sharing this video. I have a wedding that I'm in and I need to temporarily extend my locs to style them. I love you technique with looping the extention and wrapping it rather that braiding it to your hair because this seems to be a better way to aid in the removal process. One question though, how do you safely remove the extention? Do you have a video on that? Thanks in advance.

I usually just cut way past where I think my hair ends and just let it unravel and pull it out my loc. But with this hair up close you can see the difference in hair textures so I just cut two inches down from where my hair and the braiding hair meet.
