Great Temptations video montage. I wonder how much thought the writers put into the lyrics, when they seemed to reference other Temps songs. Paul sings "there are two sides to love"...which references their song by that name, which Eddie sang lead on. Richard Street references this same song in their song 'Heavenly'. I can imagine the Temps choreography, with Paul pointing to the other fellas, as he sings the line from their lost and found single 'Give It Up', where he sings about a love that's "too strong for any temptation", had it ever been performed by the group. The only obvious reference the Temps make to their previous hit, is the line from their song 'Stay', where we hear "you will forever be My Girl" spoken by Otis over their own sample of James Jamersons pulsing bass line from their number 1 hit, 'My Girl'.

In the movie, the Temptations story, the public were invited into motown to listen to thier latest songs. At the end of each track the audience were asked if they would spend thier last buck on a burger or the just played record.I guess the audience were starving hungry when they listened to this track.

RobBigCitySoul- you are the best! Forever in my heart is a underated gem from the Temptations who are my all-time favorite group of all time! There will never be another David Ruffin, Eddie Kendricks, Paul Williams, Melvin Franklin and Otis Williams! WHY THIS WASNT RELEASED IWILL NEVER KNOW, ALONG WITH ALL THOSE SONGS LIKE" MANEQUIN" AND"HAPPY LANDING" AND THE WHOLE CD. IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IM TALKIN BOUT, THERE IS A CD CALLED " LOST & FOUND" UNRELEASED MUSIC BY THE TEMPS! THE GOOD THING ITS LIKE THE CLASSIC 5 HAVE PUT OUT A NEW ALBUM! THE DOWN SIDE IS WHY THEY WERENT RELEASED BEFORE, CAUSE THIS CD IS VICIOUS!!!! PAUL SOUNDS LIKE HE DID BACK IN THE DAY AND RUFFIN & EDDIE ,OH LAWD , LISTEN IF YOU LOVE THE TEMPS YOU GOT TO HAVE IT!!!!!! BUT IF YOU WANT ALL OF THE SONGS ARE ON YT!!!! ITS LIKE A TIME CAPSULE REMEMBER "THE LOST & FOUND" YOU GOT TO EARN IT THE TEMPTATIONS FROM THE FIRST SONG WITH RUFFIN YOU WILL BE SMILING SAYING "YEAH"

Apparently back in the day there were people who would decide, possibility by a vote, which songs would get released. I've heard that there were so many recorded songs that it wasn't possible to release them all. Not that that makes any sense to me, just saying that's what I've heard. I agree with everyone that that definitely should have been released. Why was "Just Another Lonely Night " never a hit? It's one of the best Paul Williams songs of all time. Marv Johnson had some great songs that were never released. We'll never know why...

I loved the part where The Supremes are Dancing. They were of course The Sister Act to The Pre Temps Group called The Primes. Paul Williams not only discovered Diana Ross but it was he who suggested that they do the Stop Sign for The Stop In The Name Of Love in 1965 when they did the Ready Steady Go Show in 1965. Blazin Squad also performed the Move when they did a Show called The Big Reunion where former Uk Boy Band Icons and Two Solo Stars from the late 1990's and 2000's perform together.
