I think the Dollar General lady would love the hats!! Maybe tell her that you noticed her really pretty hats and you saw the new hats and thought of her; and how sweet she was. I know a lady who also has thinning hair. I think it’s called Alopecia. She wears a lot of different wigs. Some days she’s a blonde; some days a red head; whatever mood she is in !!! Girl, you really rocked those hats. I look like a little old man in hats!!! Lol. I also like to buy my snacks at Dollar General. They cost less there. I’m sure your granddaughter looks really cute in those clothes. I expect every generation questions young people’s choices of clothing. But it’s OK. I think it's a beautiful idea to give that lady those hats. Just tell her that you noticed she is wearing hats all the time, and you thought of her when you saw these, so you wanted to get them for her. Don't even make it about her issue, just a friend being kind and thoughtful. If for some reason she doesn't respond well, don't fret about it, we can only do our best to kind and people are going to react how they choose too. But I think she will feel very happy and blessed by your sweet gesture. 💜

That is a great idea about the hats for the clerk. When you gift her with them, just say, "I hope I'm not overstepping my boundaries, but I was getting some hats for my granddaughter and as soon as I saw these, I thought of you. I don't care for those tops on anybody, Madonna wore that type of thing, but she can afford security to go with her. It is great seeing you again. Oh, my cold has not let up at all. And I ran out of baby butt cream for my nose. lol That, is funny that you said you would wear that hat with the scarf to warm up the car if it got to cold. You can talk all you want, Diane. We don't mind. I always enjoy your videos. Maybe you could just tell the lady at the store that you noticed she likes to wear hats and that you ordered some for yourself, but didn't like the way they fit, so you want to give them to her. Then maybe she wouldn't feel like a charity case, and she would be more willing to accept them, without getting embarrassed for anything. Those were some really cute hats, and I loved your granddaughter's outfit. I think it would all look so cute on her. She's plenty young enough to pull it off. Once you hit our age, then those really cute outfits don't look right anymore. You're only young once. If she's wearing a men's shirt underneath that bustier, then nothing wouldn't be showing that shouldn't be.

Those hats are so cute and I don’t think it would be real rude or tasteless to tell that lady at DG about you wanting to give her some hats to add to her collection.
