Yesterday I did gel x nails on myself and before I went in with the application I just totally forgot to add dehydrator and primer. I’m hoping my nails last since I didn’t add the dehydrator and primer to my natural nails I added it to my press on nails before I went in and painted my nails I also added a thin layer of glitter poly so my nails so I’m hoping that that will get my nails to stay on a little bit longer even though I didn’t didn’t dehydrate and prime my natural nails🙄

I haven’t tried gel x nails before but fingers crossed that they last for you! It sounds like you prepped the press on nails pretty well, so you might be okay. It happens to the best of us, don’t worry too much. 💖

I was trying to add base coat to my temu nails and it did not work, the base coat started sliding off the nail, any recommendations?

@@mariais2002 That’s happened to me before. Maybe try doing a thinner coat of base coat? Or you could try a builder gel instead. I’ve heard the builder gel works better. I haven’t tried it yet but I plan to. I hope that helps! 🩷
