This is quite a long story but it’s how it is. Basically, my mum ( being the classic Asian mum) decided it was a great idea to buy products from Temu despite the warnings and videos I showed her over this time. But she chose not to listen and said “ These videos are just videos that aren’t based on real information and customer reviews”. I said it was but she said she’ll look into it. She never looked into it and now she’s starting to contemplate on buying more. Now this has been released on YT I’m sure she will stop. For a few years I had a small monthly donation to The Sierra Club taken from my bank account. I decided to cut as many expenses as possible so I called and cancelled that transaction. The woman on the phone was horrible, tried to guilt me into actually increasing my donation! I told her that Sierra Club will never see another dollar from me, and that I better not see another withdrawal on my next statement! My next statement showed that someone bought about $600 in Bitcoin, in Germany. That transaction occurred the day after I cancelled my donations to Sierra Club. My bank told me that they couldn't tell me who the thief was, but they could tell me that it was done by someone that I had previously made monthly automatic payments to, and it's not my car insurance or the two utility bills that are paid automatically. That only left the Sierra Club.
