Maybe if you backed the very thin fabric with lightweight interfacing, either before sewing or after sewing, it would certainly give it more stability. Just a thought.

You're right, I think as long as you're selective about your picks you can get some great items from Temu at good prices... I just get distracted by pretty pictures and end up buying everything 😂

Could you soak the little squares in hot water them press them with a hot iron to maybe shrink?
