Hi Amy! The wigs that you showed us are cute. Just put them on with a wig cap, and wear them around the house for a while. It takes time to see ourselves in something new. Also, try some head bands or fancy clips in them. It is always good to put on your makeup too. You may have to change the colors of you makeup to match the wig. Most of all, HAVE FUN! You deserve it!

As a “sister” wig wearer, I’ve discovered if you give your wigs a few good shakes upside down and a light brushing to loosen the fibres you might find finger styling is all they need. If they’re too shiny a little dry shampoo will make them look more like natural hair. Hope you don’t mind some suggestions but wig wearing is a huge learning experience. I love that you’re so down to earth and honest and demonstrate things most of us would shy away from!

I think you were super brave. It's not that there is anything wrong with wearing wigs but I know they have to be messed with and styled a bit. I don't have clue. Love your energy! The short, black one reminded me of the Beatles. That's not a bad thing. The Beatles were cute. The one after that was not bad but l like the straight ones better on you...but that's just me. I use leave in conditioner to lock the bangs into place and to calm down a runaway heat resistanr wig. They start to frazzle after a bit.

Hi Amy!!! Love your channel! Love your videos! I don’t know if you realize this, but anything that you ever show that is written is always backwards. If you have an iPhone you can go to Settings-Camera-Mirror Front Camera - Turn Off. If you have an android I would have to look it up. Just wanted to give you a little heads up on that. I wasn’t sure if you knew that or not. I really enjoy your channel. I just can’t ever read the print outs. Lol. Keep up the great content!! 💜

Well Amy... you probably don't remember me telling you I bought two quite costly wigs... the update is that I returned them as they were not at all nice on me and very expensive. I had to lose some money with re-stocking fees and return postage, but at least I came to my senses... I should have done what you did and buy very inexpensive ones to start with.

The most important thing you can do is wear a wig grip or the wig will slip off. A cap will not keep it from slipping, in fact, it will make it slip more because it's just a nylon stocking.

I havent opened my long red wig from Temu yet..but IF it is shiny..what do u use to make it less shiny..??

Everybody’s been telling me if it’s too shiny, put a little powder in it. It’ll dull it a little bit. I haven’t tried it yet. I wouldn’t use very much but I am going to try it because that’s what everybody tells me that they use.

Shake that wig before you put it on.....and spritz with water to get the box/bag hair out of it. It will make it look less wiggy. A hair grip works well, too.

just give it a trim.. make it a shorter length wig.. cut the scragalies. because the layering is nice looks good for a cheap wig
