I'm finally catching up on my backlog of devotional poems and songs for Hermes. This set includes three new poems inspired by epithets of Hermes, plus an older song that fit too well not to be included.
"Take," a monologue, is directed to Hermes Sohtir, 'the Savior.' "Ruler of the World" was my attempt to explain His epithet, Pantokrator (literally, 'Ruler of the World'), and the poetic story "Leader of the Chorus" does the same for Koryphaios, which refers to Hermes' role as 'leader' of the 'chorus' of nymphs. Finally, "Hermes, Take the Wheel" is a prayer to Hermes Hodios, 'the Traveler', in the style of a country trucker song.
