Where did u get the equation of parametric function. I am confused.

When i lock an area or perimeter, my object will not move, why??? Also having a problem with the trace feature. Can you help me??

LOCK - It depends on the shape and what exactly you lock. Start simple - draw a triangle using the shape tool, then measure the perimeter and lock this measurement. (attributes) You can still move any one of the triangles vertices, but the movement will be constrained. The vertex will move in the path of an ellipse. If you now lock the area, the vertex could only be in one of two places. Of course if you do the same to a circle, it is locked completely. Changing the area necessitates changing the radius ... and similarly locking the perimeter would lock the area through the locked radius. You can also stop things from 'moving' by locking the background. Shapes can change form but not move.
