ETH may be a bit prickly and confrontational and does not like being challenged as is the case with many Dutch managers. But i do think part of it is he walked into Player Power FC ; with a bunch of toxic , spoiled overpaid divas , with many big egos and some suspect mentalities. I did not at the time and do not follow Ajax that closely but did not hear one of the concerns being he fell out with everybody there. I think a lot of these issues was the squad and toxic mess he walked into with us. That Ole / Ralf season was one of the worst playing and most toxic / divided squads i've seen at MUFC in my lifetime. There is a clear lack of professionalism from certain parts of this squad. With Varane we do not know what happened exactly but that one might be more on ETH , but Ronaldo was multiple issues and then interview , Jadon blame much more on the player and his childishness and overreaction imo. Antony and Casemiro seemed to stem from how poorly they were playing for so long more than anything else ; that can often lead to strife. If Rashy has a problem not sure what it could be given ETH's near constant loyalty to him. I think the toxicity , egos and culture could be playing a major part here. Though overall ETH does seem more suited to young , hungry and less ego type players as well.

@@thrilla72 does seem to factor in a bit but to me he just always blows hot and cold for wise. There were stretches of that great season of his / ETH's first year with us) where he had some dips. And overall he almost seems to have an every other season form spike. And we've clearly seen a number of stretches of lows under various gaffers , even when Shaw was a regular and mostly fit as he's been since Jose left , until more recently. At this point in his career and this age , don't think he can be relied upon as a consistent performer week in / week out or year in / year out either.

@@jimmyjemal8802 yes , i'd say undermining Jose in general and backing and emboldening the players against one of the best managers in history who is known for his authority while at clubs was a massive contributor. That really got the player power going at our club and took it to another level we still haven't fully recovered from. Especially as the club has continually sacked managers since then and backed the squad over them quite often. Even ETH was almost a casualty of the same.

I believe Sancho believes he put in 100% and saw in games that he was out performing others in the team in his same position and still was not being rewarded by Ten Hag. What do you do when you put in 100% and do not achieved the desired result. For many they give up. Sancho did not give up straight away, on multiple occasions he out performed Rashford and Anthony and Ten Hag favoured them still displaying Bias. It takes a very strong willed individual to constantly be mistreated and continue to give 100%. The only reason I think what Sancho was wrong was because doing what he did would not bring him any closer to playing which was his desired result. But lets not pretend that trying hard and performing well was the only thing he needed to do to start because on many occasions Ten Hag has played players that did not try or perform on the only day in the week that matters, match day. I do not care if a player does not try in training, there are many instances in football where players were not professional during training but when it came to matchday they out performed their peers. Why are people so quick to label Sancho as a brat and lazy and ignore Ten Hag obvious bias and neglect. Cause and effect. I am still a Ten Hag fan but refuse to be ignorant like many others to the facts. I will not re-write history.

@@taisang2747 No I am saying the reason why Sancho might have felt discouraged. I am basing my argument off the only thing I as a fan can speak on with confidence which are the football games. Ten Hag game after game choose to play rashford who was walking around the pitch, not tracking back, anthony was doing pirouettes and kicking the ball out and when sancho came into the team he performed better than both of them and was not being picked. Same with amad diallo. Out of all the players in the sqaud who have under prformed all season Jadon sancho was the only one who was not training at 100%. The reason we finished 8th was because everyone accept jadon sancho were training to Ten Hag standard. I don't buy it personally but believe what you like. I can not say why ten hag done what he did this season but I can understand why Jadon Sancho would have been pissed off. I am not saying him tweeting out or not apologizing was the right thing to do if he wanted to play games but I won't tell him it was wrong. Everyone is different. Some people can take open disrespect and sit there and stay quiet, others can not. You say he has had attitude problems at dortmund but dortmund would take him back today.
