What has ten Haag done that justifies him having the loyalty of the United fans. He chose to throw Ronaldo under the bus because he didn’t get on with the lazy players with his ambition and hard work ethic. He’s made so many decision along the way that have led to this point today. He thought Antony was worth 80m, brought in a defender that’s been out since Sevilla last year, a left back that’s played like 5 games last season, letting the best keeper in the league go for free and getting the worst keeper I ever ever seen. He thought his squad was acceptable for him to get a useless keeper and a injury prone mason mount. Also amrabat who I’m glad is just on loan! His recruitment is no doubt the worst we have had and he’s had a say on all his signings unlike any other manager. His football last season was atrocious which we scraped with fluke goals and penalties. Let’s not forget he loves rashford and doesn’t give Amad or pellistri solid game time when they deserve the chance. He plays pub football tactics. I agree with him on the sancho thing and the youth he brought through are great. The club does need a reset but if we are being realistic here, is he actually good enough to bring in another group of players and take us further? Also the people slating tuchel, he’s won champions leagues with poor sides and several league titles, Bayern were falling off before he went there and he was doing well at psg before they got rid of him. I don’t want him at united but you can’t say that ten Haag is anywhere near his level. Mourinho and van gaal were better than ten Haag who had wingers for full backs, had no say on signings, brought in big brand players above them rather than the players they wanted. I don't think Roy had a bunch of players downing tools year after year and there for just the cash and easy life, nor a bad recruitment team above him like at MUFC that cant sign decent players for decent prices and move time wasters on. ETH may not be the best but he can improve and I'm personally willing to give him another year and hopefully a decent summers recruitment including many outgoings to try and build a balanced team that is his - not a random bunch of players 4 to 5 managers have put together.
