Captain, it is really nice to see your videos. I am a mechanical engineer and I have always liked ships and marine engineering. I was very much interested to join merchant Navy. But I used to wear spectacles that is the reason I was declared medically unfit by MMD of India. Though I got offers from few companies based in small African countries but i could not join because my friends who were already in the merchant Navy, requested me not to join those unknown companies because shipping rules in those countries are not up to the mark and the sea worthiness of the ships were questionable. However, after seeing your videos, I have come to know many things about modern ships. Your videos are very vivid, to the point with nice description. Please keep it up. Jahaz me wine to free me milta hai na ?? 4. Aap kam kya karte ho ship me jab sab kuch auto matic hai 5. Mujhe bhi lagwa do jahaz ke naukri me mai bhi free me countries ghumunga and ache salary uthaunga 6. Aaplog ko mahino sirf pani me hote haii . Kaisa lagta hai har taraf pani dekhne me mahino dar mahino ( not knowing we do make port calls )

Aoa sir, you said ships travel day and night. Does engine work 24/7 ? If yes then how do you maintain it? Do ships have more than one engine like aeroplanes?

Yes dear it’s does. Except that as I mentioned, when we either have to wait for cargo or drop anchor. Also, we try to cover all Engine maintenance during such waiting periods. That is the kind of Engine maintenance that needs Engine to be stopped. As far as the regular and daily maintenance is concerned that can be carried out while Engine is running. There’s duplication of machinery that allows us to do that. Most of the ships have only one engine. Twin engine ships are very very less. Furthermore kindly refer to friends and family and consider subscribing. Assalamoalikum.
