LOL, I've been doing the same thing for years. I recently did a Star Wars processional and Shut Up and Dance as a recessional in a pretty traditional church wedding and probably no one but the bride (who was a past student of mine) knew that they weren't some obscure classical pieces. The church didn't want me to play because I wasn't baptised in their denomination, but the bride said I was the only one she knew who could do the music the way she wanted and since she teaches music, it was extremely important to her.

well it’s kind of scattered throughout it - for example the first thing you hear is the Canon but it’s in B flat as an intro to “Until I Found You” … if you listen to my full versions of these tracks - many of them feature Canon in D … also the bonus track at the end is my new arrangement of the Canon … but it’s in C … actually in Pachelbel’s time … the way the pitch was back then it would have sounded closer to C than to our modern D … well somewhere in between … 😅
