Then Hollywood Jack got a message that Kage was in trouble
They sent Kage away cause he had gone completely insane
So Hollywood Jack jumped upon a jet plane

To be with his friend, and see what remained of his brain

You've got the technology, use the techniques of your trade"
He grabbed their lapels and he screamed, "By God, you must save him!

This is actually a 100% true story. KG really did have a mental breakdown after getting too dependent on substances. He was so depressed from Jack's fame that Jack flew him to rehab on a private jet. Kyle talked about it in an interview a few years ago. So sad!

"Look past the lyrics"?? Whaa?? The lyrics are telling a partially true story (and a little exagerrated, obviously KG didn't go insane lol) so the rawness is so real and dramatic. And even if it wouldn't have been real, it would still be a great deep story about ups and downs of friendship between two great friends. And yes the music is brilliant too!
