Tathacharya asks Rama out of concern to leave the state to stay alive. But Rama refuses Tathacharya's advice and moves towards funeral pyre. Tathacharya feels guilty for his revenge plan and prays for Rama's life. Will Rama die due to Tathacharya's revenge? Watch this episode to find out.
About Tenali Rama

The show traces the journey of a 20-year-old boy, Tenali Rama who dreams of becoming rich and famous but is too lazy to pursue his dreams. When Tenali gets forced into marriage and is compelled to earn a living, a revered saint asks him to go to the temple of the village and recite a specific mantra. Tenali does as he is told and Goddess Kali appears in front of Rama with a bowl of milk and bowl of curd asking him to pick one but Tenali ends up tasting both leaving Kali furious. Later, Tenali reasons out by explaining that what is the use of one without the other. Goddess Kali gets impressed by his wit and says he will become a Vaikatavi, a jesting poet in Krishnadevarayas court. Tenali Rama leaves for Hampi with a desire to become a part of Rayas court.
This popular series narrates the journey of Tenali who solves cases with his timely wit and intelligence due to which he becomes very popular in the Kings court.

Actually, these are all adaptations of folk tales, rather than true history. The real Thathacharya and Tenali Ramakrishna had very good and friendly relations, and was a highly religious and dharmic person. He was a great writer and wrote many brilliant works of literature. Also, the weird thing denoted here is that they have adorned Thathacharya with Vaishnava tilak markings (vertical) while he constantly invokes Lord Shiva and Shaivism. The real Thathacharya was a Vaishnava. But again, these are adapted from folk tales, and not real history, so it is ok to have Thathacharya as an antagonist as was portrayed in the folk tales.

This story is actually a part of Akbar and Birbal stories in which the royal barber conspires against Birbal and decided to kill him but the witty Birbal digs a tunnel under the cremation ground and escapes from the place before they burnt him. He returned after six months and revealed the conspiracy to Akbar. As a punishment Akbar sent the royal barber to heaven to meet his father.
