Hi Brett. I read that edition of Stoner recently and I very much enjoyed it. I just re-read my Goodreads review and was able to remember something that is not a spoiler. I wrote that, "Some major characters seem undeveloped..." and I stand by that. I think the attention it's getting now is well-deserved and I hope you find it to be a good book. And it's always risky pronouncing Irish names. From what I can gather, you pronounced Caoilinn correctly!

I'm not particularly a fan of Elizabeth Strout's books, but I absolutely LOVED "TELL ME EVERTHING"! Please read asap, it is SO LOVELY. Like a warm hug. I'd recommend it to anyone, and hope you enjoy

If you liked the previous books in Elizabeth Strout’s “Amgash” series, chances are good that you’ll love “Tell Me Everything.” “There are Rivers in the Sky” is beautiful.

I’d advise audio for Glorious Exploits, as it’s written in a Dublin accent and read by the author. I enjoyed the books before Tell Me Everything more than the book itself. Highway Thirteen is very good. Stoner 🤩 The Alternatives 🤩
