In fact, the consort Yuxiao existed before Mingyi became the emperor, and they had a daughter, but that girl didn't have a princess title until she died. Once Mingyi had the empress Yanyan, he didn't have any other woman. He was honest and loyal to Yanyan till he passed away. IN THIS DRAMA, YuXiao's baby Yaoshinu, this boy was meant to be Yanyan and Mingyi's last son in real history. Unfortunately, he died early as a baby. WOW, Wuguli's family was entirely stupid. I didn't figure out why all her family memebers died out in the end (none of their plans succeeded, even once!), now I can see the reasons from this drama😂

Shameful, that the princess didn't get her title until she died . I was laughing so hard at Wuguli in last night's clips. Finally getting the concubine thing, it is in one of the comments - by Yichen Zhou - below. In real history, the concubine and Mingyi had 1 child togethr - a daughter. Mingyi and Yanyan had 7 children together. The question is, is this drama true to history in the moment of Mingyi's relation with this concubine. Was it before Yanyan became his wife, or was it near the end of his life, as in this drama ?

Well, I'll tell you something. I've heard empress dowager but it wasn't until ep. 41 & 42 that I truly understood. I could understand better because I could see the transition of Yanyan from her majesty, emperor's wife to empress dowager, mother of the minor emperor. Dang, Ive watched enough dramas. I've also figured out to a degree the title references like Mr., Mrs., Sister, & Brother (easy, but sometimes it's just said out of respect). I figured out that it is an added suffix to the person's last name. If I'm wrong, don't tell me. Lol. Totally kidding. If I'm wrong please correct me. 😊
