Coming here after finishing the series. To be honest, when i started the drama, i didnt have much expectations cause it was a timeline switch, but i must say, this is one of the BEST C dramas ive ever watched!❤ They nailed every character. The story was just so smoothly developed. It had perfect amounts of humour, romance, action and everything. Even the villain was so funny😂. I was hooked till the end and i dont mind watching a Season 2. Such a beautiful and light story. Totally recommend!!❤

@@alicehernandez2703 You should also try I've Fallen for You (ep 24), Eternal Love 1 (ep 24) and 2 (ep 30), and Love by Hypnotic (ep 36). BTW, Love by Hypnotic starts very, very silly and you have to suspend reality for a little while, but it's pretty hilarious once it starts going. It has a similar tone to this one. All of these dramas are light, short(for Chinese dramas) and have happy endings. I listed more than usual, given the quarantine and social distancing practice right now.

Yes, To Get Her is a great series to watch. It's cute, funny, and has some great situations that will have you laughing out loud. I love Tang Xiao Tian (Daddi Tang) and started watching this to see his great acting again. He's every bit as great doing comedy as he is in more serious roles, even when he plays the bad guy. The female lead also does a great job in both dramatic and comedic parts of this series. I chuckled when she finally discovered who planned the assassination. 😅

Yes. This is a fun comedy/drama. A 'happy ending' that is not contrived, lots of gentle mocking of Chinese film cliches, pleasing actors & actresses plus suspense, nice sets & costumes etc. all make it worth watching. This was first aired in 2019. A few years later Mr. Tang played the sad Ou Yan Xing (support role) in The Sword & the Brocade (2021). Ms. Huang Ri Ying here is quite lovely and interprets her role energetically. I love the way she just lifts her fluffy skirts and runs !! Ms. Huang can be seen in Psychic Princess (which is a rather hokey, low budget live action based on an anime) and has quite a few upcoming shows like Wulin Heroes in which she is the female lead.
