Would in her mind be repeating the same love story. He knew this, which is why he didn't push for more. He was always there to save her and yet push her away again each time. She was afraid so she chose someone she could be with who would be accepted by all. Deap down, she loved the demon more but was too afraid.

There more than one kind of love between male & female in this world. Xiang Liu & Xiao Yao ‘s love ended up to be a forbidden love due to war between their clans. At this point we knew that Xiang Liu had to restrain his love while Xiao Yao had to hide her love. These actor and actress portrayed their roles perfectly in this scene. Their acting give us emotional feelings and tears. Hat off to them🎉👏

Just remember it's only a drama show. I felt the same way after watching "The Untamed" and "Word of Honor". It shows how great these actors/actresses truly are in their art. We start to believe it's real but this is just fantasy. Real life is painful enough. Don't take on pain from a show.

Throughout her life she yearned for a sincere companion eventually she married TSJ " and this is from the main novel.. The ending explains why he was able to remove the love bug from her cousin but why he cannot remove it from himself. He was willing to plant it in himself due to his great love for her while her cousin was not aware when she planted it so didn't accept it. I am glad that mystery is solved. At one point he had indicated that the bug had been planted in them for so long it had grown into something that could no longer be removed and so that must have been part of it but not the biggest reason. His love fed the bug continuously and hers must have also. I believe she loved him in spite of not wanting to while he willingly loved her wholeheartedly.

Xiaoyao's love is always capricious with every man she interacts with and that is not love. That is narcissism. XL showed true love. He loved her whether she deserved it or not. Through good or bad, he was always there for her. She always behaves like a spoiled brat.

The best character in this drama is Xinag Liu. He loved XaoYao very much. He deserved a happy ending. Xiang Liu was much better than Tushan Jing and deserved XaoYao. He loved her unconditionally, he did everything for the woman he loved. Undoubtedly the best character in this drama is Xinag Liu👏👏 i hate XaoYao.😡

I actually think out of the three men, she loved Xiang Liu the most. I felt that way reading the book. They were made for each other, but he would never be able to put his choice above everything else and therefore could never choose a life with her. Jing was the only person to choose her. The tv show definitely played up her love for Jing a lot more than in the book. That’s understandable because she does choose him in the end so I guess they felt the need to dramatise their feelings, but I honestly think her love for Xiang Liu was far deeper.

I disagree...from the beginning in the book she loves Jing. She jealous of Jing maid and compare herself with Jing fiancee. She fixes herself up when Jing is around. Unlike with XL...she never fixes herself up or concerning about her look or behaviour around XL. She is more comfortable with XL (her best guyfriend) vs her crush. The different is so big. It is disgusting how they portrayed Jing's character in the drama. XL is fan favourite and they overplayed his character especially in season 2.

@@ReviewerR​​⁠yeah that’s a fair point and I see what you mean. Personally, my onion that is, I still do think that she had this deeper yearning for Xiang Liu 😊. There’s a lot of different opinions about this novel, some say she’s better off staying by Cang Xuan, some say Jing and that she loved him the most, some say Xiang Liu. I guess that’s what makes both the novel and the show so great. It’s just such a rich story that has brought on a lot of discussion. I might read the book again haha.

I must be a glutton for suffering since watching him breaks my heart every time. I just love this demon and feel so devasted by his sacrifices over and over again for her. He loves her above and beyond. I know Jing would give his life for her also but the demon has his whole life of suffering for her w/o telling her. That is the difference between them I suppose. Jing always asks her to be with him forever while the demon wants her happiness more than his own yearning for her love. She always feels it's safer to love Jing and I understand her fear of abandonment but she misses the greatest love without ever knowing it since Xiangliu even erases her memories of him so she can move forward in life and be happy without him. Tears me apart even though this is fantasy drama. He is such a great actor and they made him look so beautiful in this drama. They make us suffer with him all the way thru. The Blue Whisper main male lead suffered so much and also broke my heart. It seems they create these characters to jerk our heartstrings and it works.

I read the novel and the ending is quite open for interpretation. The 3 male leads have their unique love story with Xiao Yao and are deserving of their own. That's why it's a good point that Xiao Yao's character is given the choice, whether it's what she thinks or feels right or not. But suffice to say, I'm on Xiang Lu's boat 😊💕

@@njoyeverymoment4450 With so many mementos that were presented in the novel (the crystal ball, the wooden toy, etc etc) I honestly can't remember the flower w/ her blood, if that was even in the novel. But Xiang Lu needs her blood as a healing balm whenever he gets hurt. 😊 And another observation as a reader/watcher, the two guys doted and spoiled Xiao Yao yet Xiang Lu seems to be the only one who would discipline Xiao Yao and reminds her of the simplier life 💕🤞

So he had no choice but use XY healing blood. He had to drain her of her blood and used one of his life to condense it into a peel to save TSJ life.

There’s one thing I don’t understand. The show is lost you forever, Who are they referring to? I guessed XL cause XY loses him forever since he dies but how do you LOSE someone you never had given that she didn’t even know his feelings or things he’s done for her… idk I just feel if the show is true to it’s name XY was supposed to find out everything XL hid from her that way she would have really felt the loss thus following the title. Unless it refers to someone else but who? If they’re gonna give pain that’s the proper way to do it; XY finding out everything XL hid after his death, right before the wedding.That way everyone would have lost. That would have been a better ending to me honestly 😅

Title refers to CX losing XY while also indirectly refers to XY losing XL. You could also interpret it as a general description of the drama since everybody had to lose something or someone at one point, ex: XL lost Wen Xiaoliu, XY lost her Wen Xiaoliu identity, Ah Nian lost Cang Xuan, etc. XY never found out about XL's feelings and sacrifices because XL made sure it wouldn't happen. He even pretended to be cold and erased the memories in her mirror. It's painful having to forget but it's even more painful having to remember.
