What a jumpy story. I didn't got a single thing and so many questions,😞😞 why were the fatty and buddhist on the rooftop in this ep?? what the Japanese want??? why is our mc so strong after a few fights??? why are the people of ancient god church so weak and who are the stong ones in them????? mannnn if only they had given some details'ss......also our mc shown as if he is used to such fighting environment is so unsetting☹☹like a little resistance, curiosity and suspense won't kill. We don't know much abt our mc's past, parents etc.

This adaptation tried its best but it's not yet at the stages where MC backstory is revealed. In the novel 1st volume ending, some of the revelation will be revealed. I can give you some spoilers, proceed with ⚠️ . . . . . . . He is one of the "Blasphemers" that was born in the era, meaning the one who can actually slay gods. Therefore, Greek God Zeus and mother earth Gaia ordered to find this most broken op forbidden ruin (now currently in the hand of the captain squad) called [Shiva's resentment] according to the prophecy to eliminate LinQiYe. The power actually erased the whole CangNan city. It turns out that Michael makes transaction with Lingbao Tianzun (Chinese deity, like a supreme immortal or somethin) 100 years ago right after the mysterious fog came in. So after the use of Shiva resentment (like a death note but you can write literally anything, except the power limits to only city destruction). Linqiye is the only one who survived. Michael Grant him his divine ability called Mortal God realm. Its main power is [Miracle]. With this, the CangNan city, which is supposed to not exist, can actually still exist. It will all later be revealed after the greek gods [Poseidon, Hades, Loki] with indra invade once again to get the [Shiva resentment]. Loki will fight linqiye but then dragged him outside of CangNan city, making the miracle stop, so his whole family and city disappeared. He managed to defeat Loki because of Miracle power. But for this power to work, it needs to be something that's actually impossible to happen, eg, a mortal defeating a god. If LinQiYe used this power on someone with a similar level or slightly stronger with him, he could not activate this miracle. Also, the divine power bestowed is limited. It was also revealed that his little brother and dog is originally the Gods of china that have disappeared, so they still exist. I'm not sure about his aunt ( I haven't caught up yet).
