Leading man is a TERRIBLE role model for young people: he needs anger management classes badly! AND he is unreasonable and just an all around jerk. It's really too bad that this is the formula for most modern Chinese office-romcoms: male jerk in position of authority acting out like a 3 year old; long suffering, misunderstood leading lady-doormat who can't help but love him. Really cheesy. The cardio-surgeon, on the other hand, is a gentleman in every sense. For once, it would be nice to have the 'underdog' get the girl and the jerk get what he deserves!

Those tropes are the main reasons why I usually can't completely finish c-drama or k-dramas. Empress Ki pissed me off, even if I know that it was based on history... The only one I could finish so far because of all the green flags is Attorney Woo. And the super popular Goblin gave me the yuckies with all the grooming, even if there were very funny scenes in.
