It has been 4 days since I finished watching the last episode of this drama. I downloaded this OST but haven’t been able to listen to it as I still could not help myself from feeling the hopelessness of their separation especially when there is no way back to find each other. The fact that the male lead (13th prince) continued living for her and leaving notes for her to find 3 centuries later is so heartbreakingly sad. Though he sounded optimist in his letters, I think he was dying inside thus he could only survive for 8 years before his passing at a relatively young age. But having said that, although cruel, I can understand why the queen mother did what she did to prevent chaos and protect the future & stability of Qing Dynasty as her son the King (former 4th Prince) would be tempted to use his power to force his brother to let go of his wife and become his concubine, despite him promising not to do so. Deep in his heart, he is still unable to forget her… there is nothing to stop him from taking what he wants the most now that he had the absolute power, and everyone becomes his subject… *sigh.. I hope the producer can come up with an extended scene please. Please make his ‘reincarnation’ remembers his past life so that they can continue where they left off 300 years ago.. it will be really sad if only she remembers their love & what they had gone through together…. Please Mr. Producer… that would really made my day🥰😊

I didn't sleep last night glued to my screen watching this drama. This OST maches the emotions i get... 😭 My heart breaks several times through these 40 episodes. It is kinda typical time travel love story but I loved it anyway. I can imagine how hard the life was in the forbidden city with all the scheming & power grabbing. I was hoping for a longer ending though.. the part when she met Yinxiang lookalike was too brief.. i was hoping for an extended scene that he would remember his past life with her, like she remember him..
