Tenchu - Japanese alternate Intro

This intro minus the opening with Ayame was on the GREATEST HITS USA version. I got it from my Blockbuster and had it growing up.

Where in Japan is Tenchu set? Anyone know?

Basically it covers all of Japan, because in the game you visit several places, the time when it takes place is in the 16th century, when the Sengoku era was present, there were many internal conflicts in Japan and in addition the Europeans began to travel to Japanese land (like Foreign Pirate mission).
