I had this on demo disc on xbox, from the official xbox magazine in like 2003. I always hated how SLOW they ran in these old tenchu games. Really makes you appreciate the speed in Tenchu Z on xbox 360.

well it was made after the PS2 release... This was basically a DLC back in the day.. It just had to be bundled on a new disc. no internet downloads for consoles then...

Surprised to see Ayame not as bratty as usual, letting Mifuyu live and Rikimaru actually killing her, as he is usually the more composed character

I think she let Mifuyu live because she felt some connection and she saw Mifuyu as herself if she had a life as a samurai warrior (onabugeisha)

it wasn't just the missions that got added, there were new techniques added, and those still frame cutscenes that occur in Ayame and Tesshu's stories were replaced by actual cutscenes. still Tesshu's first new mission perplexes me to no end, he can't kill any of Tadakoro's fellow samurai because doing so would make him a wanted man...yet this is right after he snuck into Gohda's castle to get revenge on Rikimaru for taking the kill on Nasu, unless he pretty much dropped everyone in sight to make sure no one else saw him how would he not already be a wanted man? I do kind of find it interesting how each character deals with Mifuyu, Tesshu subduing her so quickly when he's supposed to be the slow character is just hilarious.

@@dethtroy2185 yes, I'm also aware the cutscenes from Tesshu and Ayame was replaced by real cutscenes, and some of the cutscenes got extended too, but that's not the main focus of the video, it was just to show the exclusive items, missions, bosses and abilities

@@shinobiofwar13 Read the description. If you attempt the speedrun you will need the Japanese version of the game, as certain gameplay glitches can't be done in the US version... I recommend the Wii version with a real Wii mote over the PSP version for sure... Dolphin emulates it perfectly. It's a fun way to play the game.

Definitely the better experience, but certainly the less popular one. WoH came out in 2003 and was riding the wave of the last two games.

I like watching your gameplay, you play as a ninja, you take the mission with only stealth and default weapon, unlike those other players who spam items in order to get through. Can't believe they have the nerve to upload such embarrassing gameplay
