God yes. This game was endless hours of fun. And I'm glad I got to experience doing missions in multiplayer (if only a few) before the multiplayer got shut down, because it was way more fun than I thought it'd be.

Many people overlook this game...most people want guns like Halo Reach, Call of Duty! Most people love something quick and fast like Mortal Kombat 9. Not a lot of people take the time to play stealth games like this anymore, but thanks for the video upload. I love the Tenchu series, especially this one!!! Tenchu Z is a great game and I hope they make another one.

I would love another Tenchu game and if one does get released on the PS4 I will start hoping for an American release. I think Tenchu Z is highly underrated I liked playing as my own created character who was taught by Rikimaru who by the time Tenchu Z takes place was a master ninja basically Batman in feudal Japan whose willing to kill if need be. So if another Tenchu gets released I would love to play as my own created character again.

I bought this game a few days ago and now I'm totally addicted. It's awesome. Used to play Tenchu Stealth Assassins when I was younger and I must say, the entire Tenchu series seems to kick ass.

I heard Acquire is interested to make a reboot for Tenchu. I really hope they bring back all the characters and villains from all Tenchu series in the Tenchu reboot and have Mei-Oh as the true final boss.

I agree. I especially enjoy the realism of this game. True, there are some rather fantastic moves you can perform and some of the equipment is a little hard to believe, but this game actually moves to give us a somewhat realistic idea of what ninja in the feudal period did to serve their lords.

Something so incredibly seamless between the music and video edit of ninja's assassinating enemies @ 0:51 - 1:02 , has a real fluid ninja essence touch to it which makes me wanna pick up the game again.

The music in the second installment of Tenchu (Birth of the Stealth Assassins) and the storyline in the original were the best for me. I haven't played Tenchu Senran (no xbox), but it seems like the most intuitive and easy to work with so far from the gameplay videos I've seen. (ie. easier to control and direct character movement). Now if they can only bring together gameplay, storyline, and the musical themes together..

Tenchu Z is a great game. Simple in a way, but addictive. The only complaint is (imo) it doesn't feel like it reached it's potential, like it was rushed. For example, instead of merely being able to dress up your character with other weapons, why give them the ability to use them? Those little differences would have made this game an all-time favorite for me. I hope they make a sequel and heed my words ^_^.

The guy in the black coat isn't Tatsumaru, Tatsumaru is VERY dead. His name is Shigi, and he's the Master Ninja for a rival country called Oda if I remember right. He's basically Rikimaru's opposite number, and you only see him twice in the entire game.

I have to admit, I played the demo for this when it first came out and thought: "Wow, this is kind of rigid compared to the other Tenchu games". From watching KZbin videos of it however, I can see the demo hardly does it justice. Can't wait for this to arrive in the post.

Tenchu is one of those games that has what it takes to be as big as, if not more so than the likes of assassins creed. this is another one of those games that is a potential gold mine but the guys who own it don't do a thing to exploit it. tenchu z was a game that lacked polish, but if you look past the lacking graphics, you could see this was a diamond in the rough.

Tenchu Z is pure ownage, i had a suprisingly fun time with this game even with its man many many flaws its still one of my fav 360 games. Being able to create your own ninja was a huge selling point for me, i'd never played any other tenchus so i dont really care about non playable characters from the old games. but thats just my experiance i guess

@@raniii652 it's not that. Tenchu never sold well, not in the east nor the west. It was always a cult fanbase. FromSoft makes dark souls and bloodborne. Those are their huge money makers. As a company, it doesn't make sense to switch from a huge money maker back to something that barely broke even.
