Nice test, but keep in mind that since you're transferring between 2 wireless devices and this router doesn't have MU-MIMO the wireless channel is half-duplex and the router's total bandwidth needs to be time shared between the 2 devices. If you were testing from a PC wired to the router to a single wireless device you'd likely get 100Mbps which is closer to N300's realistic throughput.

in this experiment, using only a pair of devices. Even if the bandwidth according to the specifications is capable of up to 300 Mbps, then assuming the type n device is only a maximum of 40 Mbps, can it be tested again using 8 pairs (8+8=16) devices?

your tenda n301 300mbps real world throughput the same as my tplink wa7210n 150mbps 40mhz. Maybe if u change channel or move away from microwave or other electrical items, the speed will be different.
