This book felt so very raw and it was nice to read something so real, not so many magical things to shroud the actually telling of the story.

Autobiographical in the sense f.scott lived in Paris in the 1920's, he drank too much, which caused his heart attack and death, and also his own wife suffered from mental illness.

Unfortunately, this book is not as good as his masterpiece, The Great Gatsby. You can see a total shift in his style as well, with over abundance of adjectives. Alcoholism really hurt him, literarily!
