We sail to Norwegian Cruise Line's private island of Great Stirrup Cay aboard the Norwegian Gem. We explain the tendering process & show you the layout of this magnificent island. Then we speak with one of the employees who stays behind once the cruise ships have gone for the night. He talks about what it's like to live on the private island in the Bahamas.
We board the first tender of the day early in the morning to explore everything there is to see in this island paradise. Once ashore we find beach chairs, and walk the shoreline leaving new footprints in the virgin sand. There are numerous activities available for all the cruisers as well as restaurants and bars.
If you've never been to Great Stirrup Cay before or even if you have experienced this wonderful island, we bet you will learn something you did not know before.

It was nice to meet you folks as well. It was a short cruise, but we packed a ton of enjoyment into those few days didn't we? We hope to go back when the water is a tad warmer. I guess it's our Floridian blood. Happy Sailing!
