Tenelle Headlines Samoan Heritage Celebration

The City of Carson hosted the Samoan Heritage Celebration at Foisia Park, previously known as Scott Park. The celebration first began when community activist and recreation leader, James M. Foisia began organizing events celebrating the Samoan community in Carson. The festival stopped in the 90's and for the first time the event came back on June 25.
Headlining the event was Carson's very own Tenelle, the finalist from NBC's American Song Contest. Vendors and other performers came together to celebrate what the City of Carson hopes to be an annual tradition.
