Nice details, did you do any changes to the Geometry of the steering head/tripple clamps? With the smaller diameter front wheel i van imagine the bike steers more "nervous"?

Hi There, and thank you. I did not make any changes to the steering head/triple clamps. It was not necessary to make any adjustments to that. The steering is amazing in this setup. Only thing to worry about is higher mounted footpegs if you go really wild with this setup.

Well, there actually is. Check the description where you can buy the conversion kit. You only need to buy yourself some second hand Yamaha MT07 wheels.

Is it because of the abs ring?I thing on the T7 is on the left fork and at the rim of the mt07 on the right fork.

@JaxsRacingGarage I have a milling machine in brothers workshop , why not just machine new brake caliper brackets to match the disc offsets and make new spacers to suit , caliper offset brackets are used on supermoto conversions and even spindle reducer spacers etc that don't require machining hubs to take larger bearings, you weakening the bearing shoulder in the cast ally hub ? I've done a few wheel conversions and been lucky not to take and metal out from the hubs and sourcing bearing from various suppliers

Came out really nice! Too bad we have TÜV and I don't want that shitshow struggle... I wanted to put spoked 17" supermoto wheels on my Tenere but none with TÜV certificiate... Someone suggestest a shop from the Netherlands and they have some really nice wheels but then again no TÜV garbage...

Ombouw is het absoluut waard, vooral tijdens trackdays kan je je lol op. Vering niet perse nodig voor deze ombouw, ander soort voetstepjes zijn wel aan te raden omdat je die erg snel aan de grond heb in deze setup. En je remleidingen aan de voorkant moeten via de andere kant van het spatbord langs omdat de banden zo breed zijn.

@@paulrossfry1976 wheels unfil 2021 will do. You can transfer the sprocket with the t7 rim kushdrive over to the 17 inch rim. And disc of a t7 and mt07/09 are the same sizes
